Role in the Production – Director and Producer

Virinder Singh is a graduate of the University of York in Toronto, where he developed and refined his expertise in dramaturgy. His foundation in the creative arts was established during his formative years at a prestigious boarding school in Dehradun, where he was actively engaged in arts, music, and theatre.Recently, Virinder directed the play Aa Ab Laut Chalein at the 2023 Mississauga Fringe Festival. He is currently a board member of the Hamilton Council of Arts, Dance and Theatre and serves as president of the South Asian Canadian Film Federation.

This year, Virinder advanced his craft by participating in the Mechanics of Playwriting workshop led by Abhimanyu Acharya through Sawitri Theatre. He looks forward to contributing further to the arts through upcoming projects and appearances, including this year’s Fringe Festival.
