Suma Suresh is the Artistic Director of Sampradaya Dance Creations, an award-winning dance company based in Mississauga, Canada. Trained in Bharatanatyam, Suma is also a voice artist and a theatre actor. She is the co-founder of ATAM Arts collective, a Malayalam theatre group based in Toronto. With an education in Business Management and Mass Communications, along with her experience in Event Management and Public Relations, Suma blends her existing skill sets with a career in the performing arts. Suma also holds an MFA in Dance from York University and was awarded the Susan Crocker and John Hunkin Scholarship in Fine Arts for 2014-2015. She is also the winner of the Mississauga Arts Council’s MARTYS Award for Dance in 2019.
